SERVICES
Creative Direction, Editorial, Print
Terrain publishes twice a year, in print, at a moment when almost nobody starts a print title. The proposition only works if the object itself is worth keeping.
Approach
We set a flexible editorial grid that lets photography run at three distinct scales, and paired a workhorse serif with a display face used sparingly, never more than once per feature.
Outcome
The result is a grid flexible enough to carry very different features while keeping each issue recognisably part of the same title.
